Yesterday I had a bit of a ramble about some of the ludicrous transfer rumours circulating across the Premier League at the moment.
It was more a jab at those that clearly don’t understand how speculation works, but that’s neither here nor there. But, today, in true speculative style, I shall bestow my thoughts on those transfer that will happen come the new year.
5. Manchester City Exodus
In some way, whether it be loan deals, cheap under the table jobs or whatever, City will lose many of their squad players in January. Simply put, you can have as much money as you want, but City are not a big enough club (yet) for players to want to sit and wait for their chance. Sure it’s great to be Wayne Bridge, picking up a fortune for sitting down for two seasons, but it must get boring. With dressing room unrest also looking to be a problem at Eastlands it can only be a matter of time.

4. Robbie Keane to Leave Spurs He’s going, simply put. I personally see him going to Villa for about £7-8million but he could go anywhere. Many see him picking up the huge paycheck that the MLS may promise him in a move to Vancouver Whitecaps, but it’s still anybody’s guess.
He’s a hero at Celtic now too, so maybe he’ll go back to the SPL, at least he’ll get European football out of it. Whatever happens, he’s out the door, Redknapp doesn’t need him and is price is degrading by the day. By the way, Krancjar is going too…
3. Liverpool will buy a striker and a defender They have to don’t they? With the thousands of rumoured players linked to the club at the moment though, it’s anybody’s guess who Woy will finally choose. Liverpool are in desperate need of some new blood though and this could be Hedgson’s last throw of the dice. He’ll be hoping he hits the jackpot. Doubtful though isn’t it? Keep reading on page 3!
2. Bendtner to Leave Arsenal
With Milan, Bayern and of course Villa chasing the Dane it must feel like a dream come true to the lad. Well, he’s not very good is he? It’s only because he’s at Arsenal that the big clubs are paying too much attention. Wenger knows a good player and he just hasn’t managed to break into the Arsenal starting XI, his age is just in range for it to be an excuse, but not for much longer.
Expect Arsenal to cash in whilst the iron is hot because he won’t get half his January price come the summer. Arsenal will surely be looking for a replacement themselves too.
1. Avram Grant Will Be Sacked
Well, I’m not saying in January specifically. But it’s a transfer of sorts right?
West Ham are going down as it stands and the club, nor the fans want that. Unless of course it would benefit them financially? Now there’s a thought.
