If there is one thing that all Arsenal fans can agree on, it is that manager Arsene Wenger knows how to develop a young player.
Over the years here in the Transfer Tavern, we have seen time after time that Wenger can nurture and bring through top young talent, with the likes of Nicolas Anelka, Cesc Fabregas, and Alex Iwobi more recently just a few examples of this.
The Gunners fans have been in a good mood this week, and following reaching the FA Cup final with a win over Man City last weekend, have been flooding into the Tavern to have a few celebratory drinks.
Our landlord has been chatting with them over by the bar this week, and the talk has got on to the current crop of young players on the books at the Emirates. The fans seems to think that a few young lads could well be knocking on the first team door next season.
So, here’s TWO Arsenal starlets to watch out for in the 2017/18 season…
Ainsley Maitland-Niles

The 19-year-old midfielder has already been in and around the first team under Wenger, and could make a real push next season for a starting berth.
Maitland-Niles is capable of playing in a whole host of positions, and Wenger could be tempted to bring him into the fold rather than spending big on a risky foreign transfer.
Jeff Reine-Adelaide

Another exciting young midfielder, Reine-Adelaide was heavily involved in pre-season for the Gunners and looks to have a bright future at the Emirates.
If Wenger is wanting to build a future for Arsenal, then Reine-Adelaide could well be someone who he could look to develop a team around.
