Everton will head into next season on the back of a decent first season under new manager Ronald Koeman.
The Toffees fans here in the Tavern have been in a good mood for most of the season, with plenty of excellent performances along the way and some exciting young talent being bedded into the team along the way.
Next season will represent another chance for Everton to see some more young players enter the fray, and our landlord has been chatting with the Toffees fans this week in the Tavern about who might make the step up.
Over the years, we have seen plenty of talent step into the first team at Goodison Park, including the likes of Wayne Rooney.
With this in mind, here’s TWO youngsters who could make the up to the Everton first team next season…
Kieran Dowell

The young midfielder has already been in and around the first team during his time with the club, and next season could be a telling year for the 19-year-old.
Dowell will no doubt be knocking on the door of Ronald Koeman asking for game time, and if he continues his progression as he has done already, then he won’t be far away from becoming a first team regular.
JonJo Kenny

The young defender will be hoping to impress in the summer months and make a stance to be considered for a first team slot.
Kenny looks an excellent prospect, but at 20-years-old, could well do with breaking into the first team sooner rather than later.
