Manchester United are a club with a rich history of developing young players over the years, and their fans who visit us here in the Transfer Tavern are always proud to boast about this aspect of their club. 

Over the years, we have seen the likes of David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, and Gary Neville go on to forge amazing careers in the games, while more recently, young stars like Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have been bred at the club.

Our landlord has been having a good old chat with some of the United fans this week at the bar, and the consensus among them is that there are a few young players at the club who will be knocking on the door next season.

With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO Man United starlets who will be pushing for a start next season…

Axel Tuanzebe

Young defender Tuanzebe has already been part of a few squads under Jose Mourinho, and next season could be a big year for the 19-year-old.

He looks to have all the attributes to be a top pro at Old Trafford for years to come, and United certainly could have a top talent on their hands.

DJ Buffonge

Another young player who is doing well for the United youth set up, Buffonge looks an excellent prospect and at just 18-years of age, could have a bright future.

He might well be pressing the first team next season if his development continues as it has done so far, and Buffonge should go on to have an excellent career at Old Trafford.
