After watching their side claim revenge over Southampton yesterday, the Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are once again happy about the nature of life under the stewardship of Ronald Koeman.
While this season has been somewhat of a mixed bag for the Toffees in the Tavern, a recent run of decent form has at least appeased the Goodison faithful, despite a few wobbles along the way.
Though the Merseyside outfit now have big money to call on, the squad at the Dutchman’s disposal remains relatively unbalanced and this month’s transfer window sure will provide an opportunity to freshen things up.
To that end, reports emanating out of Italy have provided our local Toffees with some food for thought.
According to Tutto Sport, Gerard Deulofeu is keen to leave the club after falling out of favour under the new regime, with AC Milan reportedly keen.
The Rossoneri are understood to be keen on the Spaniard and thought to have been in contact in regards to a move, though Koeman is believed to be fighting off their interest.
Deulofeu’s agent is said to be travelling to Liverpool in the coming days to personally request a transfer as the ex-Barcelona youngster’s career enters a crucial period.
