West Ham United supporters here in the Transfer Tavern are eagerly anticipating their move into the Olympic Stadium next season, and the Hammers’ form this season has meant that European football could be on the agenda for the club.
Slaven Bilic’s men are currently in fifth place in the Premier League and whilst the Champions League could be a bridge too far, the Europa League is a real possibility at this stage.
The Croatian manager has worked his magic on the club particularly in the transfer market and he is likely to add to his squad during this month as he looks for one final push towards Europe.
With the Hammers’ squad already pretty large the London-based club may look to offload a few players in order to make room for any incoming recruits.
Here we take a look at THREE players the Hammers could wave goodbye to during the January transfer window…..

Nikica Jelavic
Whilst the Croatian isn’t a bad player, he isn’t really the sort of player who thrives on player 20 minutes here and there and is much more of a threat when playing regular football.
West Ham can’t offer him the game time he needs at present and a permanent move away from Upton Park is looking increasingly likely at this stage.
With the target man having only featured ten times for the Hammers, mainly as a sub, they could cut their losses and make way for a more potent striker during this window.
Reece Oxford
The 17-year-old midfielder has been tipped for bright things in professional football following a superb game on the opening day of the season in a win over Arsenal.
He has played four games for the first-team this season so far, but you can’t help but feel the youngster needs game time to aid his development.
A loan move to a side in the Championship who play nice football would be a perfect move for the youngster, and hopefully this month something will come to fruition.
One Hammers supporter is having a chat with the Tavern’s landlord and agrees that a loan move would be decent for the starlet, as it could get him used to the physical side of professional football a little bit more.
Stephen Hendrie
The Scottish left-back was signed by previous boss Sam Allardyce as a bright star for the future, but it is clear that the player does not feature in Bilic’s plans.
The 21-year-old was in incredible form for Hamilton Academical which earned himself the move south to play for an Premier League club, but despite arriving in 2014 he has yet to take his first-team bow.
One West Ham fan is tucking into his all day breakfast which the landlord has just taken to him and believes that Hendrie may have a bright future, but that he needs to go and play some football, at a club lower than the Premier League, to allow his parent club to keep a track on what he is capable of.
Should Hendrie become available there are likely to be many suitors for the player’s signature.
