The Lyon playmaker would be a quality signing for the Hammers and Bilic has a proven track record of taking good quality players from Ligue 1, after bringing Dmitri Payet to the Premier League last season.
The 24-year-old has been nursing a slight shin injury but he is now fit and back in the team, with West Ham likely to be closely monitoring his situation.
A French exchange student has come into the bar this morning and he thinks that Grenier is far too good for the top flight in France, stating that his flair and creativity are far more suited to English football.
Bastian Schweinsteiger
The German midfielder’s days playing regular football at Old Trafford look to be over a cheeky loan move from West Ham United would likely tempt the player to make a switch.
At 32-years-old, the former Bayern Munich man can ill-afford to spend time sat on the bench or in the stands and a chance to play first-team football would be too good to turn down.
