3 reasons why Alexis Sanchez should ask to leave Arsenal as soon as possible

The Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are seriously concerned about the future of Alexis Sanchez…

The Chilean winger has been in the press a lot lately, first because of the fact that he has yet to sign a new contract with the Gunners – and secondly because of the frustration that he showed following Arsenal’s 3-3 draw with Bournemouth earlier this week.

Despite coming back from 3-0 down, Sanchez threw his gloves down in frustration seemingly because the Gunners did not win the game – and that has led many in the Transfer Tavern to speculate about whether he may want to leave the club.

Clearly, the Chilean was frustrated – and when you combine this with the fact that he hasn’t signed a new contract yet – all signs point to one thing.

With that said, here are 3 reasons why Alexis Sanchez should ask to leave Arsenal as soon as possible…

 Ambition

If his frustration following the Bournemouth game showed anything, it showed that Sanchez is a man with lofty ambitions.

Despite coming back from 3-0 down, Sanchez wasn’t happy with the draw – even though many of his teammates were. In fact, Olivier Giroud spent a good few minutes celebrating the draw – which signals just how far away Sanchez’s desires are from some of his team mates.

Sanchez wants to be winning leagues and tournaments, and at Arsenal – the ambition to do that just isn’t there. If he wants to be succesful, he just has to leave.

 Money

The main stumbling block regarding a new Arsenal deal for Sanchez thus far has been wage problems, with Sanchez demanding more than Arsenal can offer him.

Simply put, if Sanchez does want more money – he is going to have to leave.

There are a number of clubs, both within the Premier League and outside of it, that would be willing to pay him what he wants, even if Arsenal arent.

 Quality

There is no doubt about it, Alexis Sanchez is one of Europe’s finest footballers.

He proved it whilst with Barcelona, and he has proved his worth in the Premier League with Arsenal – and he could be playing for a far better club than the London side.

Now, Arsenal are certainly a big club and they are certainly successful, but in the modern era – they just aren’t what they used to be. Sanchez is good enough to be playing for the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona – and if he truly wants to play at his level, this is where he should be aiming.
