The Lilywhites have fallen behind somewhat in the title race, and whilst many were hoping that this could be Tottenham’s year – it seems as though Pochettino will be fighting for a top 4 finish, rather than celebrating a famous title win.
Next up for the London-based outfit is Stoke City, with the Potters the very definition of a consistent, stable Premier League side.
They could pose a real problem for Mauricio Pochettino, and so the Argentine will need to ensure that his side is perfectly poised this weekend.
Expect a full strength side from the Lilywhites, with Tottenham keen to secure 3 points.
With that said, Pochettino must field this Spurs XI to brush aside Stoke with ease on Sunday…
GK – Hugo Lloris
Hugo Lloris has struggled at points this season, but there is no doubting that he is Mauricio Pochettino’s best choice.
He will need to be on form to hold the Stoke attack back.
LB – Ben Davies
Ben Davies seriously struggled against Gent last week, and it must be tough for him to only come in sparingly in place of Danny Rose.
He’s got a few games under his belt now, though, and needs to impress.
CB – Jan Vertonghen
A regular in this back line, Tottenham will have no doubts that Vertonghen can do a job for them.

Mousa Dembele goes under-the-radar in the midfield, but he is absolutely vital for Tottenham.
