4-2-3-1: Sissoko out, 24-year-old in – Pochettino must field this Spurs XI to down Burnley on Sunday

Tottenham host Burnley on Sunday afternoon at White Hart Lane and our resident Lilywhites fans here in the Transfer Tavern are quietly confident they can get a victory.
With all due respect to the Clarets they have not been the best team away from home this season and with Spurs looking to keep pace at the top of the Premier League many here by the bar can only see one result.
Of course, football isn’t as easy as that and the men from The Lane will still need to put in a good performance to ensure they get the three points against Sean Dyche’s men.
One thing you’ll always get from Burnley is work rate and commitment so if Spurs do not match that they’ll be facing a potential shock in front of their own supporters.
Our landlord thinks they’ll do a professional job, though, and reckons this line up will help see them take victory…
GK: Hugo Lloris
The French ‘keeper is one of the best in the league and will always start when fit.
He’ll be hoping for a quiet day at the office against the Clarets.
RB: Kyle Walker
We may see Pochettino rotate his full-backs over this Christmas period but our landlord reckons Walker will get the nod here.
Kieran Trippier could be in line for a start soon.
CB: Toby Alderweireld
The Belgian defender is back and our resident Lilywhites are so pleased to see him back in the side.
The club look a far more solid outfit with him around alongside his compatriot Jan Vertonghen.
If Spurs want to win this game Kane needs to be on top form and help break down a Burnley defence that’d be likely happy with a draw. We’re all intrigued to see what he can do.
