The Man Utd fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are optimistic ahead of a tight Europa League clash against Fenerbahce…
Jose Mourinho’s side have been disappointing in the Premier League as of late, but their Europa League form remains solid – if unspectacular.
The Red Devils in the Tavern are expecting their side to come through with a big win – but Fenerbahce will undoubtedly offer a significant challenge.
Jose Mourinho must pick the right side, or he could risk his Premier League form spilling out on to the European stage.
With that said, this 4-2-3-1 Man Utd XI can definitely beat Fenerbahce on Thursday
GK – David De Gea

David De Gea is Man Utd’s undisputed number 1 – and will continue between the sticks, regardless of opposition.
RB – Matteo Darmian

Matteo Darmian looks set to get a run in the Man Utd first team in the absence of Antonio Valencia.
He needs a big performance.
CB – Daley Blind

Daley Blind has enjoyed a resurgence under Mourinho, and given Man Utd’s lack of defensive depth, he will get a run out.
CB – Marcos Rojo

A lack of available defenders will likely force Mourinho’s hand, and Rojo will likely get a starting berth against Fenerbahce.
LB – Luke Shaw

(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
Luke Shaw needs to impress, and will play.
DM – Michael Carrick

Michael Carrick has looked good when given an opportunity this season, and our landlord thinks that he could be the man to make Pogba tick.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
DM – Paul Pogba

Pogba played well in the Europa League last time out. He needs to get even better this week.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
RW – Juan Mata

Juan Mata continues to go from strength to strength this season, and injuries will likely mean he plays again.
He’ll play well, undoubtedly.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
CAM – Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney looks set to miss out on Premier League football going forward, so the Europa League offers an opportunity at redemption.
He really needs to bag a few goals.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
LW – Jesse Lingard

Jose Mourinho really seems to rate Lingard, and an injury to Martial means that he will likely play.
ST – Marcus Rashford

(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
Marcus Rashford has largely been limited to roles from the wing this season, but he deserves a chance ahead of Ibrahimovic in the Europa League.
Expect a goal.
