£60m transfer kitty: 2 summer signings Spurs should seal if they had £60m at their disposal

Spurs have had their fair share of ups and downs in the transfer market over the last few years, and fans here in the Transfer Tavern are rightfully wary when the club invests in new talent.

Some big signings have paid off, with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Kyle Walker good examples of this. On the other hand, big money moves for the likes of Roberto Soldado and Vincent Janssen have not worked out so well.

Our Spurs fans over by the snooker table have been having plenty of discussions around the summer transfer window, and just who the club may look to bring in.

Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt have his eye on a plethora of talent from around Europe.

With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO players Spurs could look to bring in this summer…

Lorenzo Insigne

The tricky winger and forward has been in excellent form over the past few seasons, giving many defenders the run around with his energetic and impressive displays.

Insigne looks a class act, and at 26-years-old will be coming into the prime of his career.

A club like Spurs would be wise to bring in someone of Insigne’s quality.

Marco Verratti

The Italian midfielder is one of the most sought after players across Europe, and could well be open to a move to the Premier League if the offer is right.

He is exactly the sort of player Spurs would sign and someone who would bring that added bit of quality to the team in the centre of the park.

At 25, he is the perfect age, and could be a star for Spurs for many a year.
