£6M Asian Star Is So Good Mancini Wants To Hijiack King Kenny’s Deal

Despite reported interest from a number of Europe’s elite, including Schalke and Lille, Park Chu-Young seems to have set his heart on a move to Merseyside with Liverpool.

However, Kenny Dalglish and Damien Comolli don’t seem too keen on adding another winger to the squad when they have more pressing issues to contend with, such as the left-back position as well as hoping to find some quality cover for their centre-backs.

Park may yet be able to realise his dreams of moving to the Premiership however, with Manchester City suprisingly interested in the SouthKorean.

Whilst Park performed admirably for Monaco last season, he could not prevent the club from being relegated to the French second tier, and has publicly said that he does not wish to play in that division.

Although City have an abundance of top quality players in both wing positions and up top, both of which are positions that Park is comfortable playing in, it is highly likely that the City hierarchy have something else in mind for Park.

Whilst he would provide quality cover for City, the commercial benefits that would come from his signing are too significant to ignore. With the UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations now in force, and City’s rather exorbitant wage bill, this commercial windfall could prove to be exactly what City need, and at a reported £6M price tag, could be quite the deal for Roberto Mancini.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
