If you’re a West Ham supporter in the Transfer Tavern right now, it’s safe to say the easiest way to deal with life is to have a few more beers.
The Hammers were royally shocked at the London Stadium on the weekend as Watford came from two goals down to claim a seriously surprising 4-2 victory.
Four goals in a blistering spell sent the Hornets home with victory and its safe to say the fans aren’t happy about it one bit.
As you can probably tell.
Even the landlord here has woken up with a chip on his shoulder and he’s normally a seriously merry chap!
After the humbling by the Hornets, here in the Transfer Tavern we thought we’d do our best to cheer the Irons up again.

Hammers defender Angelo Ogbonna decided to tweet the final score on his official twitter account yesterday, as if the 56,000 angry fans needed reminding.
This simple reply to Ogbonna’s daftness made us laugh.

Manager Slaven Bilic reckons his side haven’t become a bad side overnight after their capitulation against Watford, but this Hammers fan begged to differ, subtly tweeting this picture in response.

When Hammers legend Teddy Sheringham was asked to do some commentary in West Ham’s last ever game at the Boleyn, you’d have thought the former icon would have dressed to impress.
So when he arrived looking like a Peaky Blinders reject, fans were left in hysterics.
He might have been an icon on the pitch but a fashion symbol? Sorry Teddy…

Unfortunately for constantly crocked Hammers striker Andy Carroll, Twitter can be a seriously unsympathetic place at times and fans can ruthlessly turn on you if the results aren’t coming together.
That was more than the case this time, with one supporter going as far as to compare him to a greasy subway sandwich.
We reckon he’s more meatball marinara than anything else….

When Enner Valencia was first linked with a move to Everton this summer, it seems that not everyone was over the moon about it, least of all twitter user @Evertxn.
He declared a shutdown and requested sniper backup, should the South American start to make tracks towards Merseyside.

We have to admit, when David Gold mistook Pedro Obiang for Angelo Ogbonna it made is laugh just a tad.
But signing the player you got wrong a month later? Pretty hilarious stuff. Maybe Mr. Gold didn’t want to hurt the Italian’s feelings after getting his hopes up.
2. Noble is better than Ozil, obviously

If you’re not aware, West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble is a bit of a cult figure over in East London.
He’s been with the club for years and he’s served them particularly well.
Most recently, some feel he could have been in with the chance of getting into the England international squad, much to the amusement of some fans online.
It was only when someone suggested he was better than a certain Arsenal midfielder did we seriously begin to laugh…

He hilarious tweeted owner David Gold back when Michail Antonio was having a poor spell saying that his mate had gone missing in Manchester.
The person in the picture? Hammers wide man Michail Antonio, who Gold didn’t recognise.
