Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling rather down at the moment after they somehow drew at home to Leeds last night.
The Magpies were the dominant force in the game at St. James’ Park yesterday evening – particularly in the second half – and looked as though they were going to get what they deserved as stoppage time arrived.
However, a real lapse in concentration at the back allowed Chris Wood to turn the ball home to see the game finish 1-1 – leaving Magpies fans less than impressed.
Even so, they still felt that many of the players had put in a good shift – with one of them being Isaac Hayden.
They were quick to praise him when he posted on Twitter after the game, then, so here is the best of the reaction:
