Fixture announcement day is one of the most anticipated events in the calendar – at least during the summer while the Premier League is taking a breather.

It provides a look ahead to the upcoming campaign, as teams map out a path to potential glory in 11 months’ time.

Here, we take a look at all the key fixtures for the 2025/26 season, with all the opening day details, derby clashes and potential title deciders.

When does the 2025/26 Premier League season begin?

The 2025/26 campaign gets underway on 15th August 2025. As in previous years, one match kicks off the season on a Friday, with the first game taking place between Liverpool and Bournemouth at Anfield.

Last year, Manchester United saw off Fulham 1-0 thanks to a late debut goal from Joshua Zirkzee.

The clash between Manchester United and Arsenal looks like the marquee fixture of the weekend, while Leeds host Everton on the opening weekend in their first Premier League game since May 2023.
