Arsenal are one of many clubs set for an overhaul this summer and will need to rely on good scouting to bring in the quality players they so desperately desire.
Unai Emery could see his side qualify for the Champions League next season and that would certainly be an achievement, given how little he was supported in the transfer market.
Arsenal are in fourth position and although they have been particular fragile defensively, their attack has continued to deliver, hence the high position.
Whilst still in the Europa League as well, the Gunners have two very good ways of getting into the Champions League next season, which of course is the main aim.
The competition has a real lure about it and although Angel Correa already features in it, he could see a move to Arsenal as one that comes with a great opportunity to play more regularly.
Correa, (who is valued at £31.5 million on Transfermarkt) is a very talented footballer that Atletico Madrid call-upon even with the multitude of attacking stars they have in their squad. Indeed, the Gunners know all about him, having been touted (as per the Mirror) with a move for the player when he initially emerged as a wonderkid in 2013.
He is a versatile midfielder who can be used out on the wing, or down the middle as an attacking midfielder or even as a second striker as well. Arsenal are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements, especially in wide areas, so his versatility makes him perfect for the Emirates.
The 24-year-old has featured more from the bench than the start of the game this season, something which you could expect would reverse if he gained a move to the Emirates.
With four goals and four assists, the Argentine has made his presence in-front of goal known to La Liga but if he was to be supplying the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, that contribution would be likely to rise.
Do you think Angel Correa would make a good signing for the Gunners… Let us know!
