Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern want to see some signings come in to help improve the club after 2016/17 let many supporters down.
The season really was not one to remember for the men from east London and now the summer needs to yield some players that will see them compete higher up in 2017/18.
Certainly, they have much of the infrastructure needed to do just that and whilst it remains to be seen if they can get some good players, appointments behind the scenes are going well, too.
Indeed, the club have brought in Gary Lewin as the Head of Medical Services and many fans are pleased to hear that on Twitter.
Here, then, is the best of what was said:
The Club are delighted to announce former @England & @Arsenal physio Gary Lewin as the Head of Medical Services. Welcome to WHUFC Gary. dg pic.twitter.com/IAW3tALSno

Why you think we could sign him ? He was testing the stretcher facilities… now that is dedication we do need !
