A debate involving three Premier League sides has sprung in the Transfer Tavern today as it has emerged that the three English giants are all chasing the same highly-rated young talent!
The Daily Express, citing Spanish publication Sport, states Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all begun talks with the representatives of highly-rated Barcelona prospect Jordi M’Boula.
16-year-old M’Boula arrived at Barcelona’s prestigious La Masia academy at the age of ten and is promising enough to warrant a release clause of £2.3m, despite not yet playing a single minute of senior football.
However, the Premier League’s top trio are all well adversed with the talented midfielder as they attended a Barcelona training session last week- and promptly held talks with the youngster’s representatives about a potential move.
Arsenal have history of snatching young talent from Barcelona, with Hector Bellerin a testament to that fact, whilst Manchester United have done similar in the past with Gerard Pique- although that didn’t work out well for them.
Chelsea, meanwhile, boast two former La Masia men in Cesc Fabregas and Pedro Rodriguez, which has left our landlord indecisive on where he believes the young talent will end up.
