Arsenal fans aren’t too pleased after they were linked with a move for AS Roma attacker Cengiz Under.
According to Il Messaggero, Arsenal are among a number of European teams interested in signing the 22-year-old, including German champions Bayern Munich and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
However, there is a snag in any deal with the Turkey international saying he wants to remain in Rome ‘for a very long time’ (via Il Messaggero).
Arsenal already signed two wingers in the summer transfer window with left-winger Gabriel Martinelli joining from Ituano, while right-winger Nicolas Pepe joined for a club-record fee of £72m from Lille.
Under has made more than 60 appearances for the Serie A side, scoring 15 goals and assisting a further 13 in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
It seems the North London faithful aren’t too keen on signing yet another attacker and took to Twitter to express their dismay.
