Arsenal fans believe Calum Chambers deserves to start for the club after the less than convincing performances from both David Luiz and Sokratis.
Both international defenders have been error-prone in the opening six Premier League games of Arsenal’s season. In the 2-2 draw against Watford, both defenders made mistakes which directly led to goals (via BBC).
Chambers made his second start of the campaign last week when he played the full 90 minutes as the Gunners swept aside Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in their opening Europa League game.
The Gunners have a favourable record with the 24-year-old in the side, conceding one goal and keeping two clean sheets in just 224 minutes of first-team football (via Transfermarkt).
In stark contrast, without Chambers, the side has conceded nine goals in just under five fixtures the former Southampton man hasn’t played in (via WhoScored).
It seems fans have taken this into account as they took to Twitter say Chambers should start more often.
