Lots of Arsenal fans have been buzzing as Mundo Deportivo (via LTArsenal) reported that the north London club are in pole position to land Feyenoord ace Orkun Kökcü.
As per the outlet, his vision, dribbling, use of either feet and ability to control a game has caught the attention of Mikel Arteta, who apparently wants him to replace Mesut Ozil. The Gunners are allegedly willing to pay between €20-30 million for his services in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Comparing the two men in their respective domestic leagues so far this season, it is clear to see who is fairing better based off their stats. Kökcü has scored more goals and provided more assists, and has also averaged more long balls, shots and dribbles per game than Ozil, according to Whoscored.
Nevertheless, the 31-year old has been a faithful servant at the Emirates, but Arteta may be feeling that it is time to move him on and bring in some fresh new blood.
