Arsenal fans are ecstatic after it was revealed that Rob Holding will be starting tonight’s Carabao Cup tie against Nottingham Forest.
According to Charles Watts of Goal, Holding will be in the starting XI for the game tonight.
The Englishman has been out since December 2018 after suffering a serious knee injury in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United (via BBC).
The 24-year-old has been taking steps towards first-team football this campaign, turning out three times for the under-23 side (via Transfermarkt).
A return from Holding will be a much-needed boost for manager Unai Emery, who has seen his team ship 10 goals in their six Premier League games so far this season (via Premier League).
Both Sokratis and David Luiz were also guilty of making mistakes in the 2-2 draw away to Watford as the Gunners let a two-goal lead slip.
It seems fans were rejoicing at the report from Watts as they took to Twitter to celebrate.
