Arsenal fans were bubbling with excitement over the potential of young forward Gabriel Martinelli after his performance in the win over Vitoria.
The Brazilian once again scored at the Emirates Stadium following a cross from the left flank from full-back Kieran Tierney.
It was his fifth goal in just his third start for the club, with the Brazilian also having been assisted by the Scotland international for one of his goals against Standard Liege, giving the teenager a strike rate of a goal every 63 minutes.
Tierney spoke of his happiness at playing with the 18-year-old, claiming the former Ituano player is ‘good at everything’ and that he hates facing him in training (Arsenal via Arseblog).
Martinelli’s form at the north London club is made even more stunning when you consider he joined in the summer for just £6m (via Telegraph).
Martinelli’s start to life at the Emirates Stadium seems to have already made him a fan-favourite as the Arsenal faithful took to Twitter to react.
