Arsenal: Fans have a go at Unai Emery after issue surrounding Lucas Torreira’s position arises

Arsenal fans are less than certain over Unai Emery after one fan highlighted his misuse of Lucas Torreira in Sunday’s north London derby.

One fan on Twitter highlighted how Emery was using Torreira as a box-to-box midfielder rather than in front of the back four, which he believed was the Uruguayan’s best position.

Emery using Torreira completely the wrong way. He needs to play at the base of midfield. He’s almost playing like a box to box player at times. That’s so annoying cause that’s not his greatest strength.

Torreira played 63 minutes as the north London giants came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with rivals Tottenham Hotspur (via Transfermarkt).

Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang either side of half-time was enough to rescue a draw in a pulsating encounter.

Some fans seem far from convinced by the Spaniard as they took to Twitter to voice their concerns.
