Opinion on Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil is well and truly split among supporters of the club with some praising him, whilst others beg the club to sell him. He has recently made some comments about his current state of mind at the club and has claimed his personal goal this season is to stay ‘healthy and help the team’ (via The National).
However, his comments didn’t go down well with some of the supporters, who still seem to be holding a grudge against the Germany international. Whilst Ozil has featured more regularly under Mikel Arteta this season, he is yet to make a telling impact under the Spaniard, scoring no goals and providing no assists in eight appearances across all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
One fan tore into him for not taking responsibility after he also commented on his struggles under Emery, whilst another claimed he was ‘stealing a living’.
