Arsenal fans have been tearing into Alan Shearer after the former Newcastle United forward voiced his concerns over the Gunners squad.
In an interview with Premier League productions (via Daily Star), the Magpies legend claims he can’t see the north London outfit finishing in the top-five. He believes there’s too much work to do with the current team and not enough time for head coach Mikel Arteta to complete it this season. Despite, Shearer’s worries over the time left to make an impact, the Emirates Stadium giants are the only team in Europe’s top five leagues that are still unbeaten across all competitions in 2020 (via WhoScored).

The game against the Geordies proved that the side also possesses quality within the whole squad as opposed to just in the starting XI. Alexandre Lacazette came off the bench to score and assist a goal, showing the level of depth available to the former Manchester City assistant.
