Arsenal: Fans loving Arsene Wenger’s endorsement for Mikel Arteta

Arsenal fans love that former boss Arsene Wenger has given his full support for the seemingly incoming Mikel Arteta.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the Frenchman claimed that he will support the Spaniard, who is reportedly on his way to north London on a three-and-a-half-year contract (via the Daily Mail).

Wenger also went on to say that the Manchester City assistant coach will need ‘the right people’ around him due to his lack of experience.

Arteta’s only real coaching experience has been his assistant role alongside Pep Guardiola, who has given the 37-year-old a ringing endorsement.

Guardiola claimed that Arteta is ‘smart’ and went on to say that he has the skill set to manage at the top level (via The Telegraph).
