Arsenal fans on Twitter would happily sell Ramsey abroad

There has been growing speculation as of late that Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey could be on his way out of The Emirates, despite him being the club’s longest-serving player having been at the club for over ten years. Now, according to Italian journalist Pietro Balzano Prota on Twitter, AC Milan could be interested in the Welshman.

It wouldn’t be entirely ludicrous to see Ramsey depart for The San Siro. Former Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis recently left for Milan and one of the last things he did before leaving was offer a new contract to Ramsey. It seems to be that the South African rates him and could use his connections with the player to make him The Rossoneri’s first signing under Gazidis if they do move for him in January.

Ramsey’s contract at Arsenal is set to expire next summer and Unai Emery could be looking to cash in on the midfielder this summer, much like Arsene Wenger did last January with Alexis Sanchez. Whether Ramsey would be keen to relocate to Italy is another matter but if the money’s right and Arsenal want to sell him abroad then the decision could be taken out of the 27-year-old’s hands in the coming months.
