The Gunners were staring down the barrel of their first defeat in 16 games if it wasn’t for Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s late equaliser and Bernd Leno’s heroic efforts in goal.
The German stopper put in a man of the match performance against their opponent’s Wolves, despite conceding in the 13th minute of time. He made two excellent saves in the first half to deny Helder Costa and his side from running away with the game early on, followed by a brave effort to throw himself at the feet of Jimenez to stop his shot.
This was followed up by two brilliant saves stopping Jota and Traore securing the three points late in the game.
With Cech out injured, Leno has really taken the opportunity to make a name for himself, and the game today is yet another example of why he should remain first-choice goalkeeper for years to come.
Arsenal fans took to Twitter to applaud their new hero…

Lets take a moment and appreciate Bernd Leno for his performance today. He's basically the reason we're not taking the L today. At least psychologically, we can be happy we're unbeaten in the last 10 PL games. His shot stopping and anticipation is different class.
