Arsenal fans have been showing their frustration after a statistic was revealed comparing last season to the current campaign.

According to Amy Lawrence, the north London giants are seven points worse off and -9 goal difference worse off than comparative games last season.
Against Watford last season, the Gunners won 1-0 thanks to a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang winner, compared to a 2-2 draw this season, where the side let a two-goal lead slip.
In the game at home to Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal ran out 4-2 winners despite being down 2-1 at half-time. In comparison, Unai Emery’s men just about managed to salvage a 2-2 draw this year after coming from two down.
Monday evening saw the north London giants lose away to newly-promoted Sheffield United despite the Gunners winning two of their three games away to promoted sides last season.
After the revelation of the statistics, fans reacted negatively to the fact the club has supposedly started this season in a worse fashion than they did last year.
Here is a selection of tweets from Gooners:
Same matches, fewer points, no midfield (creativity or defense) and no entertaining football any more. Improved squad depth! Why should @UnaiEmery_ still be our coach? I need an answer.

We barely win our games, and our play style is so boring. Not even mad anymore…

Even boring boring Arsenal weren’t as boring as we are now!
