Arsenal: Fans react to referee appointment in clash versus Liverpool

Arsenal fans were far from happy when they found out who would be refereeing their fixture against Liverpool in the clash on Saturday.

Anthony Taylor will take charge of the club’s Premier League game up on Merseyside with Stuart Atwell, the man in charge of VAR.

For some reason, it seems that Arsenal fans are less than pleased with the appointment of Taylor, despite their favourable record under the Mancunian. The north London giants have only lost two of their last 22 games (per Football.London) under him.

Arsenal and Liverpool are the only two teams in the league left with a 100% record, with one or both of the teams set to lose that on Saturday.

It seems the news of Taylor’s appointment hasn’t gone down well with the Gooners, who took to Twitter to react in dismay.
