Some Arsenal fans have slammed Dani Ceballos after transfer news emerged from Movistar (via AFTV Media) that the central midfield player has not spoken to Zinedine Zidane since swapping the Bernabeu for the Emirates this season.
Indeed, Ceballos is only on loan, and he has reportedly said that he hopes that he will play for Los Blancos again at some point, but did not specify when, perhaps casting doubts over his immediate future.

The 23-year old has made 24 appearances in all competitions for the north London club this campaign, scoring one goal and providing two assists, according to Transfermarkt.
Prior to this term, the Spanish international had played in 56 games for Madrid across two seasons in all competitions, netting five times and making two assists, as per the website.
Perhaps more was expected of the midfielder coming from such a prestigious club, as these Gooners slammed him, with one AFC supporter labelling him as ‘overrated’:

He’s an average player he won’t make it at Real and he only sees Arsenal as a stepping stone, even if we keep him and he has one good season I think he’s the type of players to push through a move to a major rival (similar to Nasri) and embarrass the club
