Many Arsenal fans have been left fuming at the display in the first half from Calum Chambers in their brutal performance at Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime.

The Englishman played as the right of a back-three alongside Rob Holding and Sead Kolasinac and was largely at fault for City's first goal of the game, misjudging the flight of the ball to allow Ilkay Gundogan a simple header into the back of the net.

There was an argument that he was fouled in the build-up to the second goal tucked away by Ferran Torres, but really he needed to be much stronger in each of his individual battles.

Nonetheless, with Granit Xhaka getting sent off as well, Chambers and his teammates face a mountain to climb in the second half if they are to get anything out of the match, or even just save total embarrassment.
