Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are getting harried after talkSPORT revealed news which has warned them to speed up if they want to land Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira.
The Gunners have been dipping their toes in and out of the water regarding this transfer saga and it is time they took the matter by the scruff of it’s neck and pursued the German World Cup winner or ruled themselves out of the running.
This is the perfect opportunity for Arsenal to land a top drawer defensive midfielder, with them struggling to sign a convincing player to fulfil this position over the last few years.
And now Schalke are turning up the pressure and they are sure that Khedira has his mind set on a move to the Bundesliga.
Which is why Schalke’s chairman, Clemens Tonnies, is urging Arsenal that it is now or never if they want to change his mind.
“It’s my impression that Khedira wants to return to the Bundesliga.
“I believe he does not doubt that for a second. I believe there aren’t too many clubs in Germany coming into question.”
