Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a big win over Liverpool at Anfield later this afternoon.

For sure, then, there is work to be done for the club as they look to return to the Champions League and one man they should really try and sign before the window shuts is Marcelo Brozovic.
Arsenal’s midfield, though very creatively talented and obviously good on the ball, still – somehow – lacks some steel and grit and drive.
Granit Xhaka was signed to help that out last summer but he, though improving, is still not the most polished and so the Gunners need someone in the middle of the pitch to add some more direction.
Certainly, the Inter Milan would do that with him similar to Mousa Dembele of Spurs in terms of the way he picks up the ball off of the opposition and then drives his team up the pitch.
He’s exactly the kind of player the Gunners need, then, with them still needing more substance to complement their style, and so Arsene Wenger needs to try and get a deal done before Deadline Day.
