The defender posted an image of him in training, with the caption ‘Happy to be back 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻’
Given their defensive deficiencies of late, Arsenal could do with Sokraits back in their side, with his on-field commitment exemplified by match averages of 1.2 tackles and 3.3 clearances this season, per WhoScored.
His experience of 90 caps for Greece, along with his time in the Bundesliga as well as at Arsenal, could help to provide the Gunners’ defence with the type of leadership that seems to have been lacking of late.
