Arsenal fans are feeling relaxed in the Transfer Tavern this afternoon after hearing their star player is eyeing trophies in North London and won’t be leaving the club anytime soon.
Don Balon state Alexis Sanchez will reject Real Madrid and any other interested club to stay at Arsenal, which is significant as they were the first outlet to report the Spanish giants interest in the Ballon D’Or nominee.
Alexis has starred in the Premier League since arriving from Barcelona after the 2014 World Cup and is set to sign a lucrative new deal at the club- though it’s claimed he wants a pay-rise and a say in the club’s transfer plans.
With seven goals in 11 games this season, Alexis has been on fire and will be vital to the Gunners push for the Premier League title; with Arsenal having a strong chance of lifting the trophy, sitting joint-top alongside Manchester City heading into November.
Gooners at the bar believe there’s no chance Alexis will leave Arsenal anytime soon and have already put money on him winning the league’s Player Of The Year awards come the end of the season.
