Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are reacting to news which suggests their January plans are set to be strengthened, with a reported target being made available on the market.
TalkSport claim Arsenal target Daniele Rugani is being made available for loan by Juventus in January, which may help the Gunners in their quest to secure the signature of the Italian U21 international.
However, Fiorentina and Napoli are also keen; which could prove problematic as Juventus may see it beneficial to loan the young defender to a fellow Italian side in order for the player to continue his development.
Rugani starred previously with two seasons on-loan at Empoli, securing an impressive 78 Serie A appearances. Despite the experience, Rugani has found it difficult in Turin after being continuously overlooked by Massimiliano Allegri.
Report suggest Rugani could cost as much as £15m if Juventus were to approve a permanent sale, which would give them a £12m profit on the fee they paid Empoli for the player’s services back in 2013.
Arsenal fans, should you make a move for Rugani or are your defensive options solid? Let us know in the comments below!
