Arsenal to add another young German to their growing legion?

Emirates StadiumThe Football Transfer Tavern have some interesting reports as The Mirror indicate that Arsenal are tracking Wolfsburg teenager star Maximilian Arnold.

The paper suggests that the Gunners have increased their scouting network in Germany during the last few years, and their talent spotters have now outlined attacking midfielder Arnold as a future sensation.

The 19-year-old, who is under contract with the Bundesliga club, is thought to be available at around £8 million and has already been recognised for Germany at Under-21 level.

Arnold has recently established himself as a first team regular in the past season, finding the net six times in his 14 matches for the sixth-placed side.

Arsene Wenger appears ready to increase his German contingent at the Emirates Stadium, with Mesut Ozil arriving in a club record deal in the summer.

The former Real Madrid man joined international team-mates Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and also young German midfielder Serge Gnabry, in Wenger’s squad.

And according to reports Arnold could be the next German arriving at the North London club.
