A lot of Aston Villa fans are not happy after seeing where the club ranks in terms of defensive stats in the Premier League this season.
Villa fan @_mattavfc posted an image which was recently on Sky Sports and the club are ranked either 20th or 19th in all statistics, this includes goals conceded, clean sheets, shots faced and set piece goals conceded.
The side currently sits 19th in the top flight and was recently thrashed 4-0 by Leicester City on Monday night. They have now lost their last four in the league and it doesn’t get any easier for them, as they face Chelsea, Liverpool, Wolves and Manchester United in their next four fixtures (Transfermarkt).
With the club clearly struggling at the back, keeping only four clean sheets as the image shows, it is hard to see how the side can survive the drop as there are only ten games left of the season. The most worrying problem is the fact they have had ten errors leading to goals, highlighting that they could have been further up the league if their players were making fewer mistakes.
