Aston Villa have been linked with a potential move for Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson, who is reported to have had a £20m price-tag put on his shoulders.
The Welsh international spent one year on loan with Bournemouth last season but suffered relegation to the Championship.
Villa, who battled Bournemouth to maintain top-flight football last season, will look to improve this coming term with boss Dean Smith expected to bring in a number of new faces.
Wilson, could be one of those, having been linked with a move to Villa Park, but a valuation of £20m set by Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could determine whether or not they make a move.
Reacting to the news of Wilson’s price-tag, Villa fans gave the following responses via @AVFC_News. It seems the majority do not want the club to sign him, suggesting that the fee is too much. They may have a point, considering his current market value of £15.75m is less than Liverpool’s asking price.
One even described him as a ‘glorified [Conor] Hourihane’, perhaps alluding to the fact that one of Wilson’s key strengths is direct free-kicks, just like the Irishman.
Genuinely would rather we signed no one than wasted money on him

He’s no where close to this valuation. I sincerely hope we aren’t looking at him

12 tops in my view, i cant see them getting 20 million so it looks like yet another loan somewhere with an option to buy perhaps.
