Newly-appointed Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has proved an instant hit with the Villa fans after leaving fellow Championship side Brentford. Smith takes over the reigns from Steve Bruce and brings an attacking, attractive brand of football that will allow him to use Villa’s multiple technical players to the best of their ability.
The boss has conducted his first interview with Villa’s Youtube channel and when asked about Swansea and their manager Graham Potter, who he faces off against tomorrow, his stern, yet assured comments got a lot of Villians talking.
With that being said, let’s take a look at their reactions.

Many Villa fans see Smith being at the helm as the start of a new era for the club and have reacted very positively to the comments.

One fan managed to humorously imply that the Villa faithful aren’t used to such confidence from their manager before.
Far too forward thinking and positive for my liking
