Many Aston Villa fans have debated the performances of Tyrone Mings this season via social media.
After helping the Villans to promotion from the Championship via the play-off final last season, Mings turned his loan move from Bournemouth into a permanent one. Moving to Villa Park for an initial fee of £20m, Mings has remained a regular presence in Dean Smith’s starting XI and embarked on a season in the top flight with Villa.
Villa’s form has been largely inconsistent this term, reaching the Carabao Cup final but suffering in the league, in which they sit 19th at present.

Mings has experienced moderate form despite gaining recognition for some of his performances from England manager Gareth Southgate, who handed him a debut towards the end of last year. With question marks hanging over Villa’s Premier League future, some fans have offered Mings a rating over his season so far with some fans claiming his appearances for England impacted on his club form.
