Celebrating a goal can be a unforgiving business. You get the damn thing in the back of the net and suddenly all the cameras are pointed straight at you. The moments following the goal are often as remembered as the goal itself.

Some opt to reveal a previously concealed message on their undergarments. ‘Hello Mum’, ‘Free Charlie Bronson’, ‘Eat More Fruit’, that sort of thing. Others go for the sucking of a thumb, some the ‘Sssssh’ sign and of course there are the more elaborate participants, who incorporate props into their post goal routine.  Corner flags become microphones, punchbags and even dancing partners.
