Bilic needs to drop these 2 West Ham players vs Burnley later today

Hammers fans here in the Tavern are building in confidence after a win in their last game.

West Ham made a depressing start to the new campaign with crushing defeats against United, City and Southampton as they looked to be in a bit of a struggle.

However, they’ve formed a slow progression since then as the Hammers fans have seen their team take 7 points from the last 4 games with a 1-0 win at home to Swansea last time out.

Bilic has struggled to come to terms with the task at hand as he chops and changes his line ups with a few late goals being the savior for the Serbian.

However, he needs to sort this in quick time as opposition Burnley are playing some great football as they continue to impress. After a successful last time out against Everton, the Lancashire side are in high spirits as they look to improve on their impressive form.

So with a crucial period in the Premier League coming up and some changes needed, its vital that Bilic and the Hammers are able to pick up where they left off.

Here’s 2 players that the Hammers gaffer should think about dropping…

Andy Carroll

The tall Englishman has fitted straight back into the West Ham side after coming back from injury as he looked to hit the ground running.

After being yet to score so far this season it looks as if this man is being wasted with a player such as Diafra Sakho having scored 3 so far this season but finding his common home being the bench.

A switch in formation and tactics may be required due to Burnley enjoying an overload in the middle of the park with the 5 in midfield which would mean that Bilic may decide to switch to having an extra man in midfield leaving Hernandez up top.

So with a lack of goals coming from this source it looks like a suitable option for the London based side.

Jose Fonte

The Portuguese international made the switch from Southampton last January as he looked to join a team with high expectations for the season.

After conceding 10 goals in the first 3 games it was important that the Hammers defence stepped up in a desperate manner to resolve the problem.

However, since then there has been visible improvement as the side only went and conceded 5 goals from the following 5 games as they looked to improve on things.

Having been shaky in recent times and judging the form that Burnley have been on of recent it becomes vital that they can provide solidity at the back.

Therefore, we feel that the only solution for this is to bring in Angelo Ogbonna, the Italian centre-back has provided a more physical style of play with an added value of pace which is vital in going up against the strong in form Chris Wood.

So Newcastle fans, do these 2 men need to be dropped for this weekends clash?
