Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are cutting happier figures than they did in the opening few months of the season.

The current form of Andy Carroll has banished any bad feeling there might be at the club over the Dimitri Payet saga, and Hammers fans will be hoping for a positive finish to the season.

The January transfer window has seen West Ham linked with a host of names, and they will be hoping to add a few more players to their squad before the window slams shut on Tuesday.

Our landlord has been chatting to the lads over at the dartboard, and they think the Hammers could well do with one or two more additions before the window closes.

With that in mind, we have taken a look at TWO players Slaven Bilic needs to try and convince his owners to seal deals for before next week…

Michy Batshuayi

Chelsea striker Batshuayi has not really hit the ground running in his first season in the Premier League, and a short spell away playing first team football might well help him along.

West Ham could do with more firepower to assist Andy Carroll, and the young strike fits the mould of the type of player Slaven Bilic likes to manage.

He might not be available to move permanently, but a short spell on loan at the Olympic Stadium could be hugely beneficial to all concerned.

Robbie Brady

Norwich City man Brady is one of the most sought after players outside of the Premier League, and he would be a welcome addition to the West Ham squad.

His left foot and ability to cross the ball, as well as his set piece delivery makes him an ideal player to provide Andy Carroll with even more service.

Brady would surely be open to a move, and he would be an excellent signing for the Hammers.
