Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been responding to rumours that Bayern Munich have contacted Mauricio Pochettino over becoming the next manager at the Allianz Arena in summer. This is according to Dietmar Hamann, who explained to Sky (via Goal.com), that the German giants want to bring the Argentine in to take over from Jupp Heynckes.

The news is sure to rattle Tottenham fans, as Pochettino has become an icon around North London. The former Southampton and Espanyol manager has performed miracles at White Hart Lane and now Wembley as the Lilywhites have been in the Champions League for back-to-back seasons for the first time in Premier League history. “Poch” has achieved 2nd and 3rd place finishes with the North London club, as well as taking them to a League Cup final.
Bayern Munich will be looking for a manager to take the reigns from Heynckes as the legendary German took control of the club after they sacked Carlo Ancelotti back in September. The Italian was given the boot following a 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stages, the club then elected to give the manager’s job to their tried and tested treble-winning manager, Heynckes, as they looked to bring a new man in ahead of the 2018/19 season.

The way it's written it sounds like it's Hamann's choice not Bayern
