Bottlers: These 2 Tottenham players can’t deal with pressure and simply must leave this summer

Tottenham Hotspur fans here in the Tavern are feeling disappointed after being knocked out of the FA Cup, as Mauricio Pochettino will need to pick his side up to finish the season strongly.

Spurs looked less than convincing against Manchester United in the semi-final of the FA Cup as they were sent packing, after letting a one goal lead slip to eventually lose the game 2-1. So, Mauricio Pochettino will be keeping a close eye on a couple of first-team players from here on in, as they could be on their way out of the exits in the summer months.

Indeed, a number of players have struggled to deal with pressure at key moments in Spurs’ campaign thus far, as constant mistakes keep on costing the side valuable points. Therefore, there needs to be huge improvements from here on in until the end of the season, as the Argentine may look to conduct a major overhaul in the summer.

So without further ado, here’s a look at TWO Tottenham players that can’t deal with pressure and simply must leave this summer…

Michel Vorm

Michel Vorm had arguably one of the worst games in his footballing career against Manchester United, as a handful of mistakes helped the Red Devils work their way back into the game.

Indeed, the Dutchman has struggled to handle pressure at times in the current campaign, which has made it difficult for him to find a way into the starting lineup as he only gets an opportunity in domestic cup competitions.

Therefore, Spurs should look to bring in a completely new second-choice goalkeeper in the summer, as the 34-year-old has put in a few nervy performances in-between the sticks.

Moussa Sissoko

The Frenchman has lost his way in the current campaign as he continues to lean towards a summer exit, having failed to make the most of his opportunities in the side.

Sadly, Moussa Sissoko finds himself on the substitutes’ bench most of the time after failing to impress, as mistakes are ever-present in his game with plenty of improvements to be had.

So, Tottenham should look to offload the midfielder in the summer transfer window, as he’s offered very little in the current campaign and has struggled against some of the tougher sides.
