The Chilean’s contract expires at the end of the season, and with no renewal in sight, it seems likely that Sanchez will leave the club this summer. This has certainly peaked the interest of the Blues in the Transfer Tavern, with many touting Sanchez as the perfect partner for Eden Hazard in the Chelsea attack.
Indeed, their excitement has been palpable for several weeks, and a recent report from the Telegraph has done very little to change that. The report suggests that Chelsea are the Chilean’s favoured destination – giving those in the pub genuine hope that he could move across London.
Certainly, the arrival of Sanchez would be huge for Chelsea, and it seems as though the Chelsea fans on Twitter are just as excited as those within the Transfer Tavern.
